Caiçara Rout

Trek for recognition of the island of Vila Caiçara Araújo.
ATTRACTIONS & VISITS:
- Departure by car from Paraty until Praia Grande (10km), where the boat (baleeira) will cross from Praia Grande to the island Araújo.
- After arrival at the island the local monitor is waiting to visit the Community (church, school, library and local crafts) showing the Caiçara culture. We will walk approximately 50 minutes around the island with a stop for swimming at the beach of Tapera, a place of calm and crystalline waters.
- Then we cross from the island to Prainha where we stop at this second beach for swimming and a small trail to Praia Grande, where we have to stop for lunch optional.
- We departure from Praia Grande by car to Maria Isabel distillery to visit and tasting, which is known as your high quality of fabrication.
- The return is made through Jabaquara?s beach passing through the Morro do Forte, which has a panoramic view of the historic center and the bay of Paraty.
THE TOUR INCLUDES:
- Transportation: Sprinter Van or Land Rover
- Transportation in / out of the boat (baleeira)for crossing to island Araújo.
