Jeep Tours leaves Paraty for the Serra da Bocaina National Park. The first stop, after going through a small 10-minute trail (easy level) in the middle of the Atlantic forest, will visit the beautiful waterfall such as Pedra Branca, the most beautiful in the region, natural scenery for photographic matters, in the middle of the forest with all its pristine biodiversity, great opportunity to observe several species of birds in the region and have direct contact with the local flora including one of the largest trees in the region "Jequitibá".
We also visited Alembic Pedra Branca to learn about the artisanal method of making cachaça and tasting with various flavors;
After that, the stop for lunch is the Villa Verde Restaurant, a pleasant environment that is flanked by the Rio Pereque-Açú where tourists can bathe in natural pools and enjoy the nature of the place together with excellent Italian cuisine.
Then we will head towards Vila da Penha where we will visit the Tobogã waterfalls (where the natives practice surfing on the rock) and Poço do Tarzan. During the walk we will observe different types of plants such as bamboo, overlays, bromeliads, brown parakeets, among others.
All waterfalls have pure and crystal clear waters, great for swimming. During the tour we can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the mountains and the historic city.
Finally, we visit the Paraty Cassava Flour House, located inside the Engenho do Ouro still, where we will be able to know all the steps for making artisanal flour with a delicious afternoon coffee, accompanied by coffee made with freshly ground beans and the classic rapadura, typical Brazilian sweet.
